Spacex launch cruises are being investigated

Not every day that commercial cruise ships disturb the spacecraft that tries to launch, at least not outside some cheap Sci-fi films. However, that is what happened at the end of January. Now, US coast guards want the answer to why.

On January 30, SpaceX was preparing for the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket. The company had dealt with three days of delay related to the weather, according to Orlando Sentinel. Spacex has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 6:11 a.m. The weather was clear, and when the clock was beating closer to the launch time, everything seemed ready to continue as planned.

Unfortunately, with less than a minute before the launch, the mission manager starts shouting “Hold! Hold! Hold!” As a cruise ship entered the danger area of rocket launch, pushing the delay of the four rocket launches.

Strange circumstances, however, leaving many people wondering how the oceans can disrupt rockets that are bound to the room.

Rockets launch the area of danger

Every time a rocket elevator, there is a designated area as “danger area.” It follows the path that will take rocket, and is designed to reduce the risk of humans and terrestrial objects if there is something wrong.

Part of this problem comes from the fact that spacex rocket should fly through the southeast corridor, which is not used from 1960 to 2020, according to Florida today. The latest technology once again allows to use the North Lesson corridor to the South which runs almost parallel to the Florida Beach.

Unfortunately, the use of these corridors is extended means that vessels must be more familiar with the launch schedule, especially because the frequency of launch increases. The stakes are very high for cruise ships because there is a greater potential for the damage and loss of life if it is launched.

These factors are why Coast Guard is investigating the incident, in an effort to find out why the ship did not avoid the danger zone. Meanwhile, the warning official that 2022 will have an accelerated launch schedule, and Mariners must re-examine to ensure they know when and where the launch will occur.

“We asked all pilots and mariners to re-examine their notifications to the pilot (NOTAM) and notice to Mariners (Notmar) to ensure they were fully aware of all the delayed launch activities in this historic month on the beach room,” Space Force Maj. Jonathan Szul said in a statement, Florida today noted.
